Internships

The Institute for Southeast European Studies offers voluntary internships to interested individuals; internships for the library alone can also be arranged.

A general internship in the Institute usually lasts four weeks, and provides editorial experience in working with academic texts and knowledge of the working of a public specialist library. In addition, interns are involved in the organisation of events run by the Institute. Applicants should have a degree in humanities or social science, with strong emphasis on southeastern Europe as well as displaying a strong interest in the region and a profound proficiency of written German.
